Are you ready to lead at the heart of Yorkshire’s golfing heritage? Beverley and East Riding Golf Club, the oldest inland club in Yorkshire and proud home of the East Riding Union of Golf Clubs, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Head Professional to join our team.

Located on the historic Beverley Westwood, our club boasts an outstanding course steeped in history, offering a unique challenge to golfers of all abilities. With a strong membership base and a vibrant golfing community, Beverley and East Riding Golf Club blends tradition with a modern approach to the game.

The Role

As Head Professional, you will:

  • Serve as an ambassador for the club, delivering exceptional service to all members and visitors.
  • Manage and enhance our golf operations, including retail, coaching, and custom-fitting services.
  • Provide inspiring coaching to players of all levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors.
  • Organise and support competitions and events to enhance the member and guest experience.
  • Play a pivotal role in developing the Junior and Ladies’ sections, while serving the needs of the wider membership base.
  • Lead the professional team and work collaboratively with the club management to drive growth and innovation.

What We are Looking For

  • PGA Qualified Professional, or a candidate currently completing their PGA qualification.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and developing talent.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a history in retail and business development.
  • Experience or enthusiasm for growing Junior and Ladies’ participation in golf.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and approachable leader who embodies our club’s values and traditions.
