Thanks to the hard work of our Vice-Captain Shaun Leach, the Club is pleased to announce it is now accredited by England Golf for the Safegolf Scheme. This accreditation is for clubs which meet high standards to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. We are only the second local Club to achieve this and the 8th in Yorkshire. Further details can be found on the England Golf web site.

Members Bar Cards and shop credit. Due to the unprecedented times we are enduring this year, the Club will not be taking any outstanding money not spent by members, from their initial £25 clubhouse subscription, this year, as it has done in other years.
Those members who have left the Club or not renewed their subscription, have until 31st August 2020 to spend what is left on their bar card and spend any credit in they have in the pro shop. After that date it will be forfeited.

A reminder that anyone wanting to renew their membership, that August is the final month to receive the maximum discount due to the pandemic. Anyone wanting to take advantage of this offer, from 3rd August, will only pay £465, including the £25 clubhouse subscription, until 31/3/2021. (Age-related categories from 16 to 30 and over 80 will have their own associated discounts, juniors under-16 are free but must register as members.) Contact the Pro or the Office for details.
