As you will be all aware in the past several weeks we have been positively progressing the recruitment of our new PGA Golf Professional.

It is with great pleasure I can now announce that the successful candidate from several applicants is Paul Gibson.

Paul has a wealth of golf club PGA Professional experience and has accepted with joy the position to be our PGA Professional.

Paul will commence his new role in early October.

I am sure Paul will be known to many members and once he arrives he will provide his own personal message to our membership. He is delighted to have attained this role with our club and has a genuine desire to integrate fully with the club and its members.

Please welcome Paul as and when you get to meet him in the very near future. He will be a successful and key ingredient in the planned development and progress of our Club and golf course during 2020 and years ahead.

Let’s now continue to look forward with a fresh and positive step-change in what has been a challenging year for lots of reasons.

Now is an ideal opportunity to reflect and we all feel proud to be a valued member of the Beverley and East Riding Golf Club. The loyal and locally-based membership of our club were vital factors in attracting Paul to want to join us. Thank you for that unique and friendly membership spirit you continue to provide.
