Beverley and East Riding Golf Club has an exciting opportunity to join our greens team.
The Club is looking for an enthusiastic, full-time, permanent greenkeeper, to assist in maintaining and developing our golf course.
Variable hours of work are dependent on the seasons: 42 ½ hours per week in Summer; 37 ½ hours per week in March, October and November; 27 ½ hours per week in winter.
Rostered weekend work is required all year round. Flexibility of working to meet the Club’s needs is therefore essential.
DESIRED but not essential attributes are:
- Full UK driving licence
- Working towards or already achieved any NVQ level in sports turf
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates would be an advantage
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to understand and work within safe working practices
- Good knowledge of modern turf grass machinery
- A good understanding of the game and the rules of golf
